Details:
The first clear sky at dawn for over a week made it possible to observe the close conjunction (appulse) between the first old waning Moon of the decade and Jupiter. Mars and the tail of the constellation Scorpio are also visible in the lead wide-angle night scene taken five minutes after they appeared above Cecil Kop. The remaining pictures are views of the conjunction in a beautiful sunrise colored twilight sky which brightened until they faded at 5.16 am. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in night scenery, and sunset modes with up to x40 zoom magnification.
