Details:
My first Northern Lights sighting of this decade. Auroras from China Southern flight 399 enroute Guangzhou to New York, near the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border in Canada. This was a good show especially considering the KP index was at a solid 0, and the hemispheric power was a mere 8 or 9. They were unusually red (Sometimes low solar activity causes red Auroras). Taken around 23:30 local time on 1/1/2020.
