Details:
The first Auroras of 2020! We are struggling with really bad weather in Finnish Lapland, with a lot of clouds, snow, and today even temperatures going above freezing point, when it's supposed to be something like -20°C/-4°F. I did find some opening in the clouds after driving in the rain (yes, rain on a 2nd January in the Arctic!), and there came the first Auroras of 2020! They were not so powerful but lit up the sky nicely, especially when the Bz dipped to the negative values. Let's hope the coming days will be easier with the weather!
