Details:
Cold with passing clouds early in this morning. Images of the moon taken under poor conditions but I did find a gap in the clouds before dawn. The full disk image was taken with an Explore Scientific ED80 and ASI178MC camera. I switched to an Explore Scientific ED127 with a 2x barlow and ASI120MC-S camera to image Mars and Mercury using the moon to check my focus. True to form there were too many clouds to the SE but I did get some nice close up images of the moon with my other larger scope. The location of the rising planets was approximately in the orange clouds toward the southwest at dawn as shown in the last slide. Additional details are noted on the slides.
