Details:
Attached are pictures of 3 very distant and dim galaxies taken a few nights ago. Each is has about 2 hours of total exposure (or less). Slide 1 is an edge on galaxy (NGC 1055), slide 2 is a face on galaxy (M77) and slide 3 is a galaxy with spiral arms (NGC 1073). All are located very close to each other in the SE sky at dusk. Much longer exposure time is needed but getting clear skies with low humidity in the Pacific Northwest doesn't occur very often. A Explore Scientific ED127, SBIG ST2000XM ccd camera and MACH1 mount were used. Additional information is shown on each slide.
