Details:
I watched the Alpha Monocerotids on November 22, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:30 UT from the Taubenberg mountain in southern Germany, about 10 kilometers north of the Bavarian Alps. While the lower regions were covered by fog, near the summit of Taubenberg at 880 meters above sea level I found a clear sky with only some cirrus clouds. A nice atmosphere, with a view to the alps, the crescent moon and two Tawny owls calling in the forest. During that time I saw around 15 meteors, unfortunately not really an outburst. Details: Canon Eos 600d, Sigma 10mm f/2.8 fisheye, ISO 1600, 20s exposure.
