I have finally succeeded in composing an animation of the Mercury transit. This is just a small preview, the larger animations can be found here:

Images acquired with a 6 inch refractor and Quark H alpha filter. Seeing: poor due to low altitude of Sun and also due to a lot of cirrus clouds.
