After quite a quiet period, the Sun appears to have woken up and produced some reasonable sized prominences. Photographed with a 40mm Coronado solar filter on a Vixen Fluorite F102 telescope using a hand held Canon Powershot S120 camera at the eyepiece Exposure was 1/100s f/2.8 at ISO 100
