The transit of Mercury photographed in November 11, 2019 from Southern Italy by Nunzio Micale and Rocco Scarnecchia.
The transit of Mercury occurs when the first planet of the Solar System is interposed between the Earth and the Sun, appearing as a black disk, being in shadow, on the solar disk.

The next transit will take place in 2032.
This shot shows the sequence recorded by Italy, a partial transit since Mercury set together with the Sun while it was still on the solar disk.
