Details:
pic #1...went out to take some star pics and there was steve drifting across the sky slowly. never seen this many bands before. semi fisheye lens..cannon gx7... 30 seconds...taken from my yard in Interlochen Michigan usa
pic #2...my wife and I went to sleeping bear dunes along lake Michigan usa to photograph the milkyway when my wife says whats that. it was a one band rainbow looked like white fog going across the lake. I said it must be northern lights lets finish takeing pics of the milkyway first then we turned the camera to the west (I usually go to the north end of the lake for the lights) and there it was ….my green band from one end to the other. I first saw this 5 years ago and was so excited that I didn't overlap the stiching enough and couldn't put it together. been going to the lake trying again but sometimes the lights don't produce, theres fog along the lake, clouds along the lake, or the lights are to good with great rays. I wanted no moon and just the green band.....got it and I wasn't even going there for it...how cool. its going on
my wall 13x48 shot with a cannon gx7 mark11 at 3200 asa and a 24 mm lens.. pics stiched together
pic #3....collage of... the milkyway (natural no computer adjustments except stiching) over the horse farm..space station crossing by north star....orion riseing…..all pics taken in Interlochen Michigan usa
