Another great night in Abisko! After several days of silence, our webcam finally woke up just in time to record a powerful aurora display above Abisko National Park, Sweden. It turns out that a small proprietary wire that moves images from the camera to our servers had failed and had to be ordered in from the manufacture. As soon as we received the part, Sr. Lights Over Lapland guide Oliver wright climbed up the pole and sorted out the problem. In the meantime, our team has been working on a brand new "corona webcam" which will point straight into the sky and capture even more auroras than we have in the past.
