Details:
I was driving home when I first noticed the clouds. They looked like a roiling seascape flipped upside-down or perhaps cloud details seen on Jupiter. Eventually, I got to a location where I could park and take some pictures. I have since learned that one of the cloud types I saw has been recently added to and named Asperitas in the Int'l Cloud Atlas.
