Details:
Saw a faint, motionless band pop up (slightly south of my relative latitude @ about 10pm local time) that stretched from (magnetic) east/west from horizon to horizon, stayed stable for about 15 minutes and then started disappearing closest to the eastern horizon while overhead started warping into an s-curve while the western end of the band remain relatively still. Broke up and disappeared within 40 minutes of it appearing, but was visible with eyes alone and stable overhead with some short bursts of picketing for nearly 20 minutes. (Canon 70D w/ 17-40mm lens, 20-ish sec. exposures @ f/4.5 - ISO 3200)
