Details:
Beautiful symetric rays crossing on the sky caused by dust from the volcano Raikoke. Often at volcanic dusk we can observe this type of optical phenomena, the most spectacular are after volcanic eruption. It was similar in 2008 after the eruption of the Kasatochi volcano as shown for comparison in photo 2 and after the eruption of the Sarychev volcano in 2009 as seen in photo 3.
