Details:
STEVE put on a good show last night. The display lasted for over 1.5 hours and started in the northwest as a little ghostly spike and morphed through the green picket fence display and eventually spanned the entire sky from horizon to horizon. The transparency of the sky was poor with light cloud and haze and some apparent airglow as well. There is a meteor visible passing directly through STEVE in one of the images. The photos were taken between 11:30 pm and 1:10 am CDT. Canon 6D DSLR, Sigma 20mm ART lens and Sigma 8mm fisheye lens.
