Details:
Finally , a crisp clear dark sky in northwest Wyoming for starwalking. The Milky Way central star clouds emerging from behind Spirit Mountain across the narrow " fjord" just above the Buffalo Bill Dam near Cody Wyoming. Planet Jupiter casting a nice beam across the surface of the lake. Exposure was for 15 seconds at f/2.8 ( wide open ) on a Tokina ATX 11-16mm zoom set to an equivalent focal length of 20mm. Nikon D5300 dslr set to Auto color balance. Image was post-processed in Nik DFine to remove the slight amount of JPEG noise
