Details:
An amazing display last night here in New Zealand. I observed the activity for some four hours from 1900-2300 NZST. Once the activity ramped up at around 8pm, a strong arc was seen as well as brilliant rays reaching up towards the LMC. The calm waters of Lake Ellesmere allowed me to capture near-perfect reflections. Various settings were used but generally were around f2, 8s, ISO 3200 and shot with a Samyang 24mm lens on a Canon 6D.
