Details:
I was observing M51 at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center parking lot in Olympic National Park. I noticed the sky had become hazy. I then realized the haze was the aurora overwhelming the galaxy. I used a Canon T7I camera with a Vivitar 8mm lens, 3200 ISO, 30 seconds exposure.
