Amazing experience. Image better than thousands of words. Just before the C2 on the top of the observatory. Used Canon 6D and Saymang 24 mm.

Venus is visible bellow to the left of the eclipsed Sun and Betelgeuse to the left.
But amazingly the whole of Orion including the Belt can be identified very weakly as well as Mercury in the top and to the right of the image with Mars bellow.
A truly beautiful capture of the eclipse.
