Details:
Clear sky with unusually good visibility to the southwest of Mutare early Monday 17th June provided a magnificent view of the Full Moon (and for a while Jupiter) setting behind mountains near Chikanga Township at dawn. It is unusual for the Moon to remain so clearly visible while descending behind a distant horizon as shown in the accompanying still photos and 21 frame mosaic. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in night scenery mode with up to x60 zoom magnification.
