Details:
Lower level thin clouds and much higher clouds that look like possible NLC's but are being illuminated by moon. No NLCs visible after sunset so curious to get input on what these are. look like some photos i have seen of Gravity waves? I didn't have a camera but nephew captured these images.

Good question. Ive seen no discussion about identifying NLCs illuminated by the moon. Im guessing they are cirrus clouds, but I cant be sure.

Followup....they are unusually thin for cirrus, so since you can see stars through them they might be NLCs.
