Details:
Stunning NLCs over N. Ireland last night, and without question at the same caliber with the epic 2009 season during the last solar minimum, perhaps even better. Type 5 brightness and illuminating the landscape, the structures were quite frankly unbelievable in beauty and eeriness. At times smoke rings, spines, skeletal structures glowed in the sky with unearthly brilliance and could be seen creeping across the sky in real time with the naked eye, the show was jaw dropping one hour before dawn. I wonder is it even possible to surpass it this season? I reckon we could!
