Details:
This picture is intended to show that it's possible, with proper equipment, to take pictures of some deep sky objects under a light polluted site. The Fighting Dragons of Ara (NGC 6188), depicted here, was captured in downtown Curitiba, southern Brazil, in May 26th, 2019. Close to the right border lie the nebulae NGC 6164 and 6165, created by a mass ejection of the star inside them. Downtown Curitiba is classified as Bortle 9. The image was taken with an 80mm f/6 Orion apochromatic telescope and ZWO ASI 1600MM CCD camera. Hidrogen alpha and Oxigen III filters were used.
