Details:
Rayleigh scattering helped set the stage for an unusually bright, predominantly red, early morning rainbow. I’ve seen these kind of rainbows after sunset but haven’t ever noticed the brighter arc occurring just inside of the violet band. These are smart phone captures without processing. What a great start to the day!
