I was so surprised to observe reddish northern lights over Lake Baikal, Siberia during my travel to Russia. It was a clear dark sky without any human light pollution and I could see something bright in the north. As checked in spaceweather, the KP index was only 3 and the latitude is only 53 degree north. The picture was captured by a modified Canon EOS 600D with f2.8 11mm lens, 120s exposure with ISO1600.

If you adjusting White Balance point correctly, then you would see that its not Aurora. :)
The reddish light is just remain from the sunset, as there is Zodiacal Light in the middle of the frame.

Thank you for your comments and study :) Indeed I got the same view as you at first, however, this picture was take at 10:30pm and this direction remains reddish until I stopped taking photography at 12am, while I checked that the Astronomical Twilight ended at around 9:30pm.
In another day which kp index was 1, I no longer capture this at similar time and only got Zodiacal light as you said :(
