Recent weather in the New York area has not been cooperative with overcast clouds and/or rain preventing a good photo of the sun. Today I was able to snap this photo of the sun between the clouds and there it is... the new sunspot. Sunspot 2738 is almost in the same location as sunspot 2529 was in the 2016 photo (almost exactly 3 years ago) I took with the commercial airplane crossing the sun's face.
