A complete halo indeed, consisting of the 22 degrees circular halo (the inner ring) and its circumscribed halo (the surrounding elliptical figure). The circumscribed halo is composed from the 22 degrees upper and lower tangent arcs and hits the circular halo in its upper and lower segments indeed. Mostly only the upper and lower arcs are visible, without their circumscribed connection.
