Details:
On the lower right of the image, crater Helmholtz appears as a dark area narrowly ringed with a rim that is about to disappear into the sunset. To its left, Boussingault lies half shadowed with a smaller shadowed crater on its northern limb. Farther lower and left, the Boguslawski is still mostly illuminated. Below and to its left, Demonax has a completely shadowed floor and past it's southeastern rim, a unnamed ridge seems to hover in the darkness.
Mutus and Manzinus angle across the lower left image, fully illuminated. Two smaller craters pock the floor of Mutus. The crater pair Vlacq, with a notable central peak, and Pitiscus appear on the right central image. A relatively flat area lies between the three craters and is known as the Mutus-Vlacq Basin. It likely represents an ancient impact basin that was subsequently cratered by further impacts and filled with ejecta from other, distant impacts.
