Details:
On 8th March, clear sky provided good views of the two day old waxing crescent Moon setting above Murahwa Mountain. The thin crescent first appeared in bright twilight glow 20 minutes after sunset (lead x5 speed video animation and first picture). The following images show the Earthshine portion becoming progressively more visible as the twilight fades. Camera: Tripod mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode and x90 optical+digital video magnification.
