Last week a large filament crossed the Sun, as seen in this series of H-alpha images, and then erupted in the early hours of February 24, 2019. SpaceWeather.com, February 24, 2019, shows a link to video of the eruption in the paragraph entitled "Solar Explosion Misses Earth." One end of the filament appeared associated with a plage that was the site of AR 2733 during the prior rotation.
