Details:
Mercury might have been a tiny bright speck, but the scene was indeed beautiful. After days of persistent bands of cloud exactly in the wrong place, the sun set on the 25th from a lovely clear sky, with Mercury clearly visible over a favourite oak tree in the gathering dusk. c.1840 UTC Canon EOS6D 13/10 f11 190mm 800ISO and 5/2 f11 200mm
