Details:
On the clear night of 021319 a Waxing Moon prevented getting much of an exposure of a comet. Then around 4am trying again, developing clouds over Beech Mountain in the Southern Appalachians seemed to conspire against even getting a shot. But C/2018 Y1 made a brief appearance between the clouds anyway.
Photo made with a Nikon D800e for 15 seconds, ISO 1600 using a 180mm lens at f2.8.
