Details:
The Sun shining in almost clear sky mid-morning on February 6, after some rain the previous day, was accompanied by a very bright partial halo in a band of cirrus cloud beneath it. This thin high cirrus cloud had just the right amount of tiny ice crystals in it to produce a partial halo while on a radius of 22 degrees from the Sun. This faded after 10 minutes as the cloud dispersed and the sun shifted to a different position. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in scenery mode.
