Details:
Conjunction between the Moon with Laguna nebula (M8), Trifid nebula (M20) and the planets Venus and Jupiter on February 1st, 2019. On the right is the galactic center. HDR mosaic of 94 images obtained from Teide Observatory (IAC, Tenerife, Canary Islands) with a Sony A7S modified camera and a Canon 200/1.8 telephoto lens, the legendary "Eye of Sauron". This is the result of teamwork: Dr. Miquel Serra-Ricart (IAC), technical material; Daniel PadrĂ³n, astrophotographer, manual capture on static tripod (!!) and assembly of the images and Juan Carlos Casado, final processing.
The scene was only 10 degrees above the horizon and was captured just before the beginning of twilight.
