Details:
Just before total lunar eclipse starts or just after it ends you could see a blueish band due to ozone layer in earths upper atmosphere.

Thanks Deven Parekh for sharing the picture with us (the astronomy enthusiasts). Excellent picture with the blue band. Kudos to you for taking such a great picture from outdoors - specially when it was below -20 C with wind chill that night in Chicago suburbs.

What was the cameras white balance setting? I dont see the blue fringe showing up consistently in lunar eclipse photos, and I suspect it may be mostly an artifact of automatic white balancing.
