Details:
It seems that Utsjoki, Finnish Lapland, is THE place to see a nitrogen fringe! After an exceptional display the night before, tonight we were treated again with strong northern lights, for a good half hour! It all started when the Bz tipped south for a few minutes, but strangely enough, it continued for quite a while even though the Bz turned back north as it had been most of the night. I hope you don't get bored reading this, because I don't get bored posting pictures here but: what an exceptional night again in the North of Finnish Lapland!
