Details:
The weather was very cloudy over Finnish Lapland, but with such a nice solar wind arriving from a coronal hole, I just had to give it a go! I did find some clear skies. The auroras were weak for several hours, but I just new the blast is coming. It surely did after 22PM local time. At their best, the auroras were really crazy, painting swirls all around the sky above me. The show lasted for well over 30 minutes with very powerful arches shining across the skies. These were the best auroras I've seen in months! Otherwise, the weather was very cloudy.
