Details:
Can you spot the tiny blue dot? Brightest comet of 2018. Comet Wirtanen is now moving away and dimming. While not spectacular like Comet Hale-Bopp it can just be seen by naked eye from a dark location, it appears fairly large in my 7X binoculars. After locating in binoculars, knowing where to look I could see it naked eye. There is a satisfaction in driving to a dark location and finding this icy visitor that is not so obvious. Canon 6D, Carl Zeiss 25mm f2.0 Distagon lens set at f2.5. Exposure 30 sec at ISO 5000.
