Details:
The lead report today mentions the occurrence of PSCs over the UK in February 2016. We are at Latitude 52, about level with Haarlem in the Netherlands (south of Amsterdam) The clouds had been seen in northern England (Yorkshire) the night before and I reckoned they might just drift further south. Unfortunately South Eastern England was blanketed in low cloud in the morning of 2nd February 2016, but thinned enough at about 0900 UTC to reveal the stratospheric clouds above.
