On a hazy evening on the lawn at Perkins Observatory in Delaware, Ohio, we observed comet Wirtanen in binoculars and small telescopes. After the moon set it was visible to the naked eye as a barely visible smudge. Image taken with a Nikon D750, using a Tamron 150-600 G1 lens. 10 images, F/5.6, 60 seconds, ISO 2000
