Details:
It clouded over as dawn broke after the Geminids peak and the clouds have persisted since. The Geminids were great, with well over 100 observed plus one fireball posted on this site. Cloudy so no comet tonight, but in compensation there was a very bright Solar pillar at Sunset today. It made the end of the day special. The backyard Saguaro gives this a sense of place. This image was captured with a Nikon D850 and a Nikon 50 mm F 1.4 lens.
