I experimented to see if I could pick up the comet through local light pollution as an encouragement to town dwellers. Image 1 shows a JPEG as shot with the location of the comet circled in yellow. The detail shows the comet after some photoshop gymnastics. The noise is awful, but it is there. Canon EOS6D Samyang 14mm f.2.8 30 secs ISO6500
