Another great night in Abisko! The auroras started off very faint and had a hard time competing with the bright Moonlight that bathed the National Park. As the night drew on, we started to think that we would have to go to sleep before the auroras intensified but just as we started to grow weary the lights intensified and a powerful aurora developed in the north sky. We stood under the lights for several hours and enjoyed an amazing show. To top it all off, our webcam captured an amazing image of a late night Leonid blazing through the northern lights. What a fantastic experience. Watch the show live on two webcams here: https://lightsoverlapland.com/aurora-webcam/
