Details:
I was in Jay Em, WY taking pics of the eclipse (randomly) and captured a jet passing over the disc of the sun prior to totality. I did not intend to take the pic, I didn't even see a jet. I also captured the "Diamond Ring" and a few at totality (just like everyone and their brother). Using a super cheap Opteka 500mm f/8 HD Mirror Telephoto Lens with my Canon EOS 70D.Not the sharpest pics of the eclipse, but they are mine! ;-) What was it like? I was a shaking mess of wet noodles the whole time! Completely stunned by the awe and beauty of the moment. I'm glad I got a few shots off. Enjoy.

Also, I used Mylar from a safety blanket ($1.25) over a cardboard tube that fit perfectly over the end of my lens. Not the best image quality, but I am happy with the amateur results. Good thing Im not paid to do this eh?
