The discovery of a comet by three amateur astronomers is a rare event because of the great neo-search programs. The new comet Machholz-Fujikawa-Iwamoto is currently 8mag bright in the morning sky and should be brighter in the next few days. His tail was still faint on 11.11. Image from november 11 UT 4.23 with 10 "/ 4 My special congratulations to the three discoverers
