After one month since my first image of this comet, I’ve finally had one hour to image it again. Very poor conditions, suburban skies, poor transparency and the comet rather low. But these were the conditions on October 5 also, so no harm done 🙂 Using the same equipment under similar conditions, I can now compare the aspect of the comet and see just how much it changed in one month. The image shows that it is much brighter and larger. Waiting for the next session, hopefully in better conditions this time…

Nice chronology comparison over a month period, of comet Wirtanen 46p. we have had bad weather here in Portland Oregon for a couple of weeks now and it begins to get colder, inclement weather conditions are a deterrent to get out and see this comet so far. Plus it is still too low in the southern skies for us here in Oregon.
Just a note that I saw someone elses post of this comment from the state of Texas, nearly taken as the same date as yours, and he asks if he caught a second comet in the frame, but it is actually a remote Galaxy; its visible in the far right of your Right image. Someone commented to list it as ESO 350 / ??
