Details:
Last night the forecast was very low, but I have seen the magnetometers going little zig-zags. That meant some action! I went out on a distant lake in Rovaniemi region, and found a picturesque spot with the dead tree. Sure enough, small auroras were dancing over the course of several hours. At some point the aurora intensified to a bright little strikes of light with a tint of pink. September is the best months for auroras!
