Details:
I took a seaplane over to Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior located near the MN/Canada border. Just posting now as internet is extremely limited on the island. Also Limited by weight restrictions on the seaplane ride, I didn't have all the gear I would have liked to and used a gorillapod to stabilize camera. Aurora activity was not forecast to be high, but "Steve" made a very strong appearance for a solid 45 minutes. I had another camera with an all sky view 8mm lens capturing "Steve" overhead and to the south! Strongest one I've ever seen. The rays were intense and bright. I will be posting a timelapse of the night at a later date.
