Details:
Starting on September 10th at 17:07 pm local time here in the UK, the G2 geomagnetic storm has finally passed through, a little over 28 hrs later, leaving a legacy of beautiful aurora in its wake. There was too much terrestrial weather around to see anything for myself, but that didn't bother my magnetometer, which recorded the whole event.
