Details:
On my 2nd night in northern Finnish Lapland, mother nature decided once more to give an exceptional Aurora show!
Despite again slow solar wind, the Bz turned south at about just the time when the sky gets dark enough to see the Aurora. The magic immediately started then, as if someone had flipped a light switch exactly when expected (this rarely happens with Aurora!).
As I keep repeating to anyone who asks if they should try to see/photograph the Aurora despite (very) low Kp prediction: if you're at a very northern geomagnetic latitude, just go out and take your chance!
What a wonderful night yet again in Finnish Lapland.
